In the 8th minute Rolf Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Christoffersson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ove Westerstrand showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Arne Vallengren struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nils-Emil Lund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hille IF. Nils-Emil Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Vallengren in the 22nd minute of the match. If Arne Vallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Lennart Enström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gösta Christoffersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Alén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Vallengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Emil Lund having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hurva BK's Edwin Alén slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gösta Christoffersson. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Vallengren to strike the kick off in the second half. Hille IF's Gösta Christoffersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Alén in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ove Westerstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hurva BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Westerstrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Christoffersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Edwin Alén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gösta Christoffersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Westerstrand in the 63rd minute of play. Lars-Erik Tunberg charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars-Erik Tunberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hille IF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Edwin Alén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hille IF's Gösta Christoffersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Edwin Alén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hurva BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
