The audience thought a goal was coming when Henning Delin got free with Joar Finsberg in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sven-Åke Norberg came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Bovallstrand fans jumped to their feet. In the 44th minute, Christoffer Lindgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Åke Norberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Bovallstrand got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Norberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Delin in the 56th minute of play forced Bovallstrand's goalkeeper Joar Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Staffan Jonasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sven-Åke Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Åke Norberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Börje Hultstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Henning Delin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Flatås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Delin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joar Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Delin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th match minute, FC Flatås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Eklund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Lindgren in the 84th minute of play forced FC Flatås's goalkeeper Börje Hultstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Stig Hedman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joar Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Delin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jonathan Lindholm came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Bovallstrand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Lindholm couldn't finish the play. Christoffer Lindgren fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 96th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Bovallstrand were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
