The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Helge Helberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Joar Finsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Åke Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Helge Helberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Lindgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isak Lindqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Joar Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Helberg in the 19th minute of the match. If Sven-Åke Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christoffer Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sven-Åke Norberg made the kick off in the second half. Joar Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Säfström in the 56th minute of the match. Klässbol IF's Helge Helberg got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helge Helberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helge Helberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joar Finsberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Bovallstrand's Joar Finsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Helberg in the 88th minute of play. Joar Finsberg came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Klässbol IF's Helge Helberg. But to his dismay, Helge Helberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The Klässbol IF players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
