Bo Isaksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albert Wallengren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Isaksson ran back to his position shaking his head. Bengt-Arne Lundhberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Bo Isaksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Wallengren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. John Eckegren struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ivan Alén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smedstorp. Albert Wallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Lundhberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 40 minutes, Bengt Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smedstorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bengt Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute Bengt Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tor Kleen came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Råå FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor Kleen couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Isaksson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Wallengren saved Smedstorp from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Jarl Fagerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smedstorp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Råå FK the free kick. In the 74th minute, Jarl Fagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Råå FK's Ivan Alén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Råå FK from getting a goal against them. Albert Wallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Lundhberg in the 82nd minute of the match.
