Frans Hellbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Nils-Åke Västerstrand made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Alunda's Arne Sjödin got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Ola Johansson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nils-Åke Västerstrand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orvar Danielsson was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Skyttorp's protests and gave Paul Ekgren a yellow card for diving instead. Alunda's Allan Smedfeldt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Skyttorp. Orvar Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hannes Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Frans Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Västerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alunda's Nils-Åke Västerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Eliasson in the 93rd minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
