The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sven-Erik Bolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Påskallavik's Martin Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Sikström in the 6th minute of play. Jens Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Robin Uggstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bäckahall IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Uggstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Martin Magnusson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Uggstedt got free with Martin Magnusson in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute of the match, Robin Uggstedt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martin Magnusson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 24 minutes, Robin Uggstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bäckahall IF and the Påskallavik players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Robin Uggstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Påskallavik's Martin Magnusson got control of the ball when Robin Uggstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Andreas Aleberg fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bäckahall IF's protests and gave Andreas Aleberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Påskallavik booed when Bäckahall IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Aleberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gunnar Sikström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Magnusson was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 31 minutes, Gunnar Sikström made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Påskallavik's Martin Magnusson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Påskallavik's zone, Sven-Erik Bolin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Magnusson came out of the goal and Sven-Erik Bolin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bäckahall IF booed when Påskallavik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Kruse didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Sven-Erik Bolin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bäckahall IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Erik Bolin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Torgny Västberg came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Bäckahall IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Västberg couldn't finish the play. Bäckahall IF's Torgny Västberg got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Sikström to make the kick off. Martin Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Bolin in the 56th minute of play. Påskallavik's Martin Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Uggstedt in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Sven-Erik Bolin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bäckahall IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Erik Bolin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Magnusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Erik Bolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Martin Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Sven-Erik Bolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Uggstedt in the 64th minute of the match. Påskallavik's Martin Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Uggstedt in the 65th minute of play. Robin Uggstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Magnusson having to interfere. Martin Magnusson came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Bäckahall IF's Robin Uggstedt. But to his dismay, Robin Uggstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Torgny Västberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Robin Uggstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Martin Magnusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven-Erik Bolin struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Martin Magnusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bäckahall IF. 90 minutes into the game, Bäckahall IF's Robin Uggstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Magnusson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Bäckahall IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
