If Per-Oskar Bäcklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Alvar Alén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 9 minutes, Andreas Säf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abisko BF and the Östra Ryd IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andreas Säf kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Bengt-Åke Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Alén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, Abisko BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Lennartsson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Abisko BF's zone, Vilhelm Åberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Olsman came out of the goal and Vilhelm Åberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Anthon Åhman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Olsman was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östra Ryd IK's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Brun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Östra Ryd IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Fastesson to maneuver through the defense. Bengt-Åke Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Alén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Anthon Åhman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anthon Åhman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Victor Olsman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Oskar Bäcklin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Per-Oskar Bäcklin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bengt-Åke Brun. The goal made the score 0-2. Östra Ryd IK's Bengt-Åke Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Bäcklin in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Per-Oskar Bäcklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Per-Oskar Bäcklin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Abisko BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Oskar Bäcklin couldn't finish the play. Vilhelm Åberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Olsman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilhelm Åberg ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthon Åhman in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Olsman saved Abisko BF from getting behind. Emil Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östra Ryd IK's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Brun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Vilhelm Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Anthon Åhman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vilhelm Åberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Olsman having to make a save. Anthon Åhman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abisko BF:s Victor Olsman showed great skill when he stopped Staffan Beckman:s penalty. After 94 played minutes Östra Ryd IK got a freekick which was hit by Emil Persson. Per-Oskar Bäcklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Brun having to interfere.
