Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Östra Ryd IK's Anthon Åhman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Östra Ryd IK's Bengt-Åke Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Hjälm in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Håkan Hedvall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Östra Ryd IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelsea FC the free kick. Håkan Hedvall hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Tobias Hjälm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Östra Ryd IK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Anthon Åhman hit a great ball. Bengt-Åke Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Hjälm, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Håkan Hedvall was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Östra Ryd IK's Håkan Hedvall got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Bengt-Åke Brun came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea FC's Frank Norberg. But to his dismay, Frank Norberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Frank Norberg sped through Östra Ryd IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bengt-Åke Brun. Chelsea FC's Tobias Hjälm got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Chelsea FC's Frank Norberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Åke Brun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bengt-Åke Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Hjälm in the 43rd minute of play. In the 49th minute, Frank Norberg made a precise shot to the right of Bengt-Åke Brun. Östra Ryd IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Chelsea FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Norberg to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Frank Norberg notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Östra Ryd IK's Bengt-Åke Brun. Bengt-Åke Brun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Frank Norberg came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Chelsea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Norberg couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Hjälm in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Åke Brun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Frank Norberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Norberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Åke Brun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Anthon Åhman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Åke Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Tobias Hjälm could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Bengt-Åke Brun however easily saved by the left post. Frank Norberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bengt-Åke Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Östra Ryd IK got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Åhman. Chelsea FC's Tobias Hjälm got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilhelm Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Helström having to interfere. Östra Ryd IK's Bengt-Åke Brun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Östra Ryd IK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Norberg in the 98th minute of play forced Östra Ryd IK's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Brun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Åke Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chelsea FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
