Grunden Bois's Korneliusz Sala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Grunden Bois from getting a goal against them. Hampus Askelöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Korneliusz Sala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Fedor Chasovodov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Team Zissou's Örjan Hedberg. Örjan Hedberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tom Bolander hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Hampus Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Åke Eriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Korneliusz Sala having to make a save. A collision led to Team Zissou getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tobias Brandin hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Tom Bolander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grunden Bois's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Zissou the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Grunden Bois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Bolander to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Grunden Bois's goalkeeper Korneliusz Sala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Åke Eriksson. 39 minutes in the game, Hampus Askelöf dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Grunden Bois's zone, Hampus Askelöf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korneliusz Sala came out of the goal and Hampus Askelöf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joakim Vallmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Korneliusz Sala made a huge save. After the first half Grunden Bois were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hampus Askelöf made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Team Zissou's Jens-Åke Eriksson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Korneliusz Sala was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute Jens-Åke Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Sala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Björn Sandberg came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Grunden Bois fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Sandberg couldn't finish the play. Örjan Hedberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Sandberg in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Hampus Askelöf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Sala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Sandberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Örjan Hedberg having to make a save. In the 67th minute, David Unesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Team Zissou fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Korneliusz Sala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Vallmark in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Björn Sandberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens-Åke Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Korneliusz Sala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Team Zissou walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
