Spectators: 7224 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dan Asklund started the match with the kick off. Douglas Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Asklund in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kjell Elg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gert Linberg came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Harbo's Dennis Grubb. But to his dismay, Dennis Grubb quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Grubb in the 16th minute of play forced Hishult's goalkeeper Gert Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Dennis Grubb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gert Linberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Hishult's Carl Ahlkvist got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Hansson in the 22nd minute of play forced Hishult's goalkeeper Gert Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Grubb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Roger Arvidsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harbo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hishult the free kick. The supporters of Hishult booed when Harbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hishult's Sven-Ove Heggert got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kjell Elg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carl Ahlkvist. Johan Törnqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gert Linberg. Hishult's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dan Asklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell Elg was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 36 minutes, Edvin Ahlrot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harbo and the Hishult players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Harbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Ahlrot to maneuver through the defense. Dan Asklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kjell Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hishult's Gert Linberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Hansson in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Hishult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Duset to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kjell Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Ambjörnsson in the 49th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Grubb to strike the kick off in the second half. Dennis Grubb received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gert Linberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Dennis Grubb slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute Dan Asklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Birger Hermansson from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Gert Linberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 63rd minute Dennis Grubb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Linberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Grubb in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Roger Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Douglas Hansson made a precise shot to the right of Gert Linberg. Hishult's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Kåre Tunander kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dan Asklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell Elg was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Sven-Ove Heggert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Erik Kalfhage charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Erik Kalfhage the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Karl-Erik Kalfhage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjell Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Asklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 84th minute of the match Edvin Ahlrot completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edvin Ahlrot a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Edvin Ahlrot hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gert Linberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Hansson in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Arvidsson in the 91st minute of play forced Hishult's goalkeeper Gert Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Asklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell Elg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Asklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Asklund scored 1-4 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell Elg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Harbo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
