Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 100) Sven-Erik Grubb made the kick off and thus started the match. Sven-Erik Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Lundgren having to interfere. When Sven-Erik Grubb came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Sandarne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Erik Grubb couldn't finish the play. Inge Lagerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Benett, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Emil Benett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skillingaryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Benett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Lagerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emil Benett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Sandarne got a freekick which was hit by Christian Hedvall. Christoffer Bagge charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoffer Bagge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Skillingaryd booed when Sandarne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Bagge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skillingaryd's Conny Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Grubb in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Gilbert Fridlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skillingaryd and the Sandarne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Erik Grubb in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conny Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulf Strömberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Inge Lagerberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Benett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sven-Erik Grubb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olof Billing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Conny Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Skillingaryd getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gilbert Fridlund hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Ulf Strömberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Lagerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes Skillingaryd got a freekick which was hit by Olof Svartengren. Sandarne's Mattias Henriksson collided with an opponent after 71 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. When Rutger Samuelsson fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skillingaryd's protests and gave Rutger Samuelsson a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice moves Olof Billing could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Conny Lundgren however easily saved by the left post. If Christoffer Bagge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sandarne's attack was well implemented in the 87th minute, but when Olof Billing was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Christian Hedvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Jespersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skillingaryd's goalkeeper Conny Lundgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandarne were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Skillingaryd to leave the ground with a draw.
