Leif Njurenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Ekeberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Åke Lidberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Hannes Åström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magne Borre during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Hajom RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lokomotiv Stolzon:s goal. Hajom RK's Nils-Åke Lidberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Åström in the 16th minute of play. Leif Njurenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leif Njurenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hajom RK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hannes Åström 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Stolzon's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Dahlman came free, but Per-Arne Bergendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Leif Njurenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hajom RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Njurenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Dahlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes, Sebastian Odman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiv Stolzon and the Hajom RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hajom RK booed when Lokomotiv Stolzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Odman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Per-Arne Bergendahl made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Johannes Dahlman sent off a good shot on target. Leif Njurenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hajom RK's zone, Sixten Fernkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Åke Lidberg came out of the goal and Sixten Fernkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils-Åke Lidberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Kevin Ekeberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nils-Åke Lidberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 64 minutes, Sixten Fernkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiv Stolzon and the Hajom RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sixten Fernkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leif Njurenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Arne Bergendahl was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Lokomotiv Stolzon's Hannes Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johannes Dahlman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Hannes Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Stolzon's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Åke Lidberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lokomotiv Stolzon had won after a very even match.
