Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sören Sjödin got the match started through his kick off. Per Kellbom came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Band Of Brothers's Arne Isaksson. But to his dismay, Arne Isaksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Per Kellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Sjödin in the 15th minute of the match. If Arne Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per Kellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Sören Sjödin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Kellbom was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Gärdsgårds BK got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Carlsson. Kasper Ånger was a little too slow when Örjan Lidman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-2. Örjan Lidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kasper Ånger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arne Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenny Carlsson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Gärdsgårds BK's Per Kellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Sjödin in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Örjan Lidman was the one to do the kick off. Eric Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent Skager hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Kasper Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Lidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Arne Isaksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gärdsgårds BK's Örjan Lidman got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 75 minutes, Eric Hedström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gärdsgårds BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Hedström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Örjan Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Ånger having to interfere. Östen Lenberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kasper Ånger. Band Of Brothers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Band Of Brothers's Roger Vallman got a free kick in the 87th minute. Kenny Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Band Of Brothers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gärdsgårds BK.
