In the 16th minute of the match, Ivan Rang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ludvig Svartengren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 19 minutes, Tommy Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagersta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Hellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Hellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fagersta's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Hellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Mogren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Ekeroth in the 36th minute of play forced Råå's goalkeeper Samuel Mogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Rang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isac Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Isac Ekeroth came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Fagersta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Ekeroth couldn't finish the play. In the 79th play minute Isac Ekeroth came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Samuel Mogren. 1-4. Tommy Hellbom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Samuel Mogren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Samuel Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Hellbom in the 84th minute of the match. Niclas Helberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
