Heberg's Thomas Colin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Vibjörnsson in the 35th minute of play. Karl-Ove Willig struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jon Källberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heberg. Heberg's Klas Bergfeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea FC's zone, Klas Bergfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Källberg came out of the goal and Klas Bergfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Björklund was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jon Källberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Andreas Törnqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Törnqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Källberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 94 minutes, Klas Bergfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klas Bergfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heberg's Svante Magnusson got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heberg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
