FC Lila Hästen's Morgan Askberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tord Åberg in the 18 minute of the game. Robin Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Sävström, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Elof Gustafsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sonny Jönsson's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Leo Botvidsson succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sonny Jönsson in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elof Gustafsson saved Skälbylunds IF from getting behind. In the 45th minute of the match, Leo Botvidsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robin Arvidsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sonny Jönsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robin Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Botvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Tord Åberg made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Viktor Näfver immediately put the ball in play. 76 minutes into the match, Skälbylunds IF's Jörn Sävström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Arvidsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sonny Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rdth minute of the game Sonny Jönsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skälbylunds IF's Elof Gustafsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jim Bäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sonny Jönsson got free with Elof Gustafsson in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
