Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bengt-Rune Persson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Tänndalen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bengt-Åke Ekeroth fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Bengt-Rune Persson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Isaac Löfgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Örjan Mellin was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Kvänum RK's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Josefsson came free, but Örjan Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isaac Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Isaac Löfgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Örjan Mellin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ingvar Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Mellin having to interfere. Isaac Löfgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Örjan Mellin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Löfgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Per-Arne Asplund kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Kvänum RK booed when Tänndalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arman Vacker, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kvänum RK's Bengt-Rune Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bengt-Åke Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ivar Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaf Zachrisson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bengt-Rune Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kvänum RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Persson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Löfgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Åke Ekeroth did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Ivar Löfgren 36 minutes into the match. Isaac Löfgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Örjan Mellin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Löfgren ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaac Löfgren made a kick off. When Bengt-Åke Ekeroth came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Kvänum RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Åke Ekeroth couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Tänndalen's zone, Bengt-Åke Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Löfgren came out of the goal and Bengt-Åke Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Persson in the 57th minute of play forced Tänndalen's goalkeeper Ivar Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes, Ulf Ahlqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tänndalen and the Kvänum RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Tänndalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Ahlqvist to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Persson in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Löfgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 played minutes Tänndalen got a freekick which was hit by Ove Pihlgren. Bengt-Åke Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ivar Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tänndalen's Ivar Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Ekeroth in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Josefsson got free with Örjan Mellin in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivar Löfgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Kvänum RK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jan Mellin hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, one of Tänndalen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Kvänum RK a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arman Vacker, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tänndalen's Ivar Löfgren. 2-1. Ivar Löfgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Åke Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Löfgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Åke Ekeroth went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tänndalen's goalkeeper Ivar Löfgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ulf Ahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tänndalen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
