Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Danielsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borensberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frövi the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Sjöström in the 4th minute of play forced Borensberg's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Browall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Frövi fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Frövi's Orvar Sjöström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kjell-Arne Browall came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Frövi's Orvar Sjöström. But to his dismay, Orvar Sjöström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Per Käcker came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Borensberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Käcker couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Helge Säf lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Casper Qvarnström. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Frövi's goalkeeper Casper Qvarnström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orvar Sjöström in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell-Arne Browall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Käcker in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Qvarnström saved Frövi from getting behind. Borensberg's Torbjörn Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Käcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Frövi's zone, Per Käcker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Qvarnström came out of the goal and Per Käcker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Frövi's Allan Sundberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. David Brummer in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kjell-Arne Browall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Frövi getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Johnny Malm hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Frövi's Jonny Fagerberg got a free kick in the 75th minute. David Brummer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frövi's Casper Qvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Danielsson in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Frövi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Persson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Borensberg getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Östen Lövskog hit a great ball. If Helge Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Käcker in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Borensberg's Per Käcker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Qvarnström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The Frövi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Borensberg from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
