Kent Odén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glemmingebro's Petter Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Sandberg in the 6th minute of play forced IK Drabbel's goalkeeper Johannes Östensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Glemmingebro's Thomas Askberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Östensson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petter Sandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Östensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petter Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Johannes Östensson made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Thomas Askberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Glemmingebro's Petter Sandberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 29 played minutes Glemmingebro got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Enström. IK Drabbel's Johannes Östensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Sandberg in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Per Holmberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IK Drabbel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glemmingebro the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Fristedt in the 45th minute of play forced Glemmingebro's goalkeeper Daniel Nyström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nils Fristedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. IK Drabbel's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Fristedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Nyström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils-Åke Paulin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Glemmingebro's Daniel Nyström got control of the ball when Nils Fristedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Fristedt got free with Daniel Nyström in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Nyström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Paulin in the 66th minute of the match. Thomas Askberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johannes Östensson having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Askberg in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes Östensson saved IK Drabbel from getting behind. If Thomas Askberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nils-Åke Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Daniel Nyström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petter Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Petter Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Glemmingebro fans cheered their team off the field, for while IK Drabbel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
