Joar Boman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sven Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Vacker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Linjesnubblarna AIK booed when Benknäcks FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Kullander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Benknäcks FF's goalkeeper Sven Karlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Torgny Kullander's late challenge caught a Linjesnubblarna AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torgny Kullander helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Linjesnubblarna AIK booed when Benknäcks FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Kullander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Rune Vacker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Linberg kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Benknäcks FF's Sven Karlsson got control of the ball when Eric Smefeldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Kasper Beneth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Eric Linberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Andy Sundberg, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Karl-Oskar Wester struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Sven Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linjesnubblarna AIK. When Eric Linberg came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Benknäcks FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Linberg couldn't finish the play. Sven-Oskar Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

A collision led to Linjesnubblarna AIK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bror Lidman hit a great ball. Eric Linberg in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marc Blixt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joar Boman might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Karlsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joar Boman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Vacker in the 63rd minute of play forced Benknäcks FF's goalkeeper Sven Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Benknäcks FF's zone, Joar Boman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Karlsson came out of the goal and Joar Boman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joar Boman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Karlsson having to make a save. Rune Vacker hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Sven Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Boman in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Sven-Oskar Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Boman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Karlsson having to make a save. Joar Boman struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Sven Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linjesnubblarna AIK. Torgny Kullander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Blixt having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Torgny Kullander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
