Sune Sundberg came out of the goal and Jens-Erik Vallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfred Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Åke Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute, Birger Alin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Billinge BK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Yngve Hallgren hit a great ball. When Ingvar Telin fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Billinge BK's protests and gave Ingvar Telin a yellow card for diving instead. Ingvar Telin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Samuel Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Erik Vallman to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Billinge BK got a freekick which was hit by Ludvig Samuelsson. Manfred Nyman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yngve Hallgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. If Samuel Sigman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sune Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Vallman in the 63rd minute of play. Sune Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Vallman in the 88th minute of play. If Mats Vallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Mats Vallmark had to leave the field with a concussion. After 96 minutes, Kjell Björk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Saint and the Billinge BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Billinge BK booed when FC Saint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 99th minute, when Billinge BK's Karl-Axel Alefors after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Manfred Nyman in FC Saint's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
