Ilsbo's Mattias Colin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Asserlindh in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ilsbo's Sven-Oskar Andreasson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mattias Colin had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Kurt Asserlindh from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Ilsbo's zone, Kurt Asserlindh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Colin came out of the goal and Kurt Asserlindh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurt Asserlindh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mattias Colin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Klas Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Spånga ip's Jimmie Engman got a free kick in the 34th minute. Mattias Colin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johan Sander in the 43rd minute. Kurt Asserlindh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Colin having to interfere. Johan Sander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Karl Biörkman made the kick off in the second half. Johan Sander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Mattias Colin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Sander in the 94th minute of the match. Spånga ip's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
