Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johan Sander got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Lund's John Bergvall got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Johan Sander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaf Ersman came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Lund's John Bergvall. But to his dismay, John Bergvall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Bergvall in the 11th minute of play forced Spånga ip's goalkeeper Gustaf Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Spånga ip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmie Engman to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Lund got a freekick which was hit by Sten Lindell. In the 17th minute of the game, Krister Holm landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Bengt Magnusson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Gustaf Ersman came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Lund's Vidar Öberg. But to his dismay, Vidar Öberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25th minute, Johan Sander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spånga ip fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Jens-Åke Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Lukas Magnusson in the 33rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gustaf Ersman's left hand side. With a little luck, Lund's Klas Bengtsson got control of the ball when Johan Sander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kurt Asserlindh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Klas Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Asserlindh in the 41st minute of play forced Lund's goalkeeper Klas Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Asserlindh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klas Bengtsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Klas Bengtsson made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Johan Sander sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Kurt Asserlindh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klas Bengtsson was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vidar Öberg to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Spånga ip getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jimmie Engman hit a great ball. Vidar Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Ersman having to interfere. If Vidar Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klas Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Asserlindh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Jens-Åke Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Kurt Asserlindh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klas Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Sander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Spånga ip's Kurt Asserlindh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klas Bengtsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Klas Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Sander, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Walter Hamberg hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Johan Sander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Klas Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Asserlindh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klas Bengtsson having to interfere. Johan Sander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klas Bengtsson having to interfere. If Kurt Asserlindh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kurt Asserlindh came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Spånga ip fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Asserlindh couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Johan Sander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kurt Asserlindh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Klas Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Spånga ip manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lund to win.
