Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bo Wiklund started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Mikael Ånger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esbjörn Sandwall was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Sven-Ove Granström kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Hansson in the 14th minute of play forced Vittskövle's goalkeeper Esbjörn Sandwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Sandwall was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mikael Ånger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Esbjörn Sandwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Vittskövle's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Ånger came free, but Esbjörn Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Folke Hedlund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Folke Hedlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vittskövle's Esbjörn Sandwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Ånger in the 35th minute of play. Esbjörn Sandwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esbjörn Sandwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Ånger in the 37th minute of the match. Olle Ahlgren hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes, Manchester United's Esbjörn Svanström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esbjörn Sandwall came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester United reached it. Bo Wiklund hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match, Mikael Ånger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Esbjörn Sandwall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folke Hedlund got free with Esbjörn Sandwall in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikael Ånger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Sandwall having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Stephansson in the 53rd minute of play forced Vittskövle's goalkeeper Esbjörn Sandwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mikael Ånger sped through Vittskövle's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esbjörn Sandwall. Esbjörn Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Ånger in the 62nd minute of play. Folke Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Esbjörn Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Mikael Ånger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Bo Wiklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Esbjörn Svanström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vittskövle's Esbjörn Sandwall didn't even have to move. Bo Wiklund charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Wiklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bo Wiklund kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Vittskövle's Esbjörn Sandwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Hedlund in the 77th minute of play. If Folke Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Olle Ahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Esbjörn Svanström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vittskövle's Esbjörn Sandwall didn't even have to move. Folke Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Esbjörn Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vittskövle getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bo Wiklund hit a great ball. If Sven-Ove Granström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Bo Wiklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vittskövle's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Wiklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Bremming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Manchester United were the better team. Manchester United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
