Spectators: 7119 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lukas Kling started the match with the kick off. Mölnbo BK's Marc Lilja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Kling in the 4th minute of play. Marc Lilja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Vollander in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Lundkvist in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Salkvist saved Hovshaga AIF from getting behind. Hovshaga AIF's Ingvar Vollander got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ingvar Vollander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Lukas Kling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marc Lilja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hovshaga AIF's Christian Salkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Lundkvist in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Mölnbo BK's Johannes Lundkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Salkvist. Christian Salkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Hovshaga AIF's zone, Johannes Lundkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Salkvist came out of the goal and Johannes Lundkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rasmus Hellkvist hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Lundkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Johannes Lundkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Salkvist having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Hovshaga AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Deckberg to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mölnbo BK's Klas Ahlroht tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With 79 minutes on the clock, Conny Kjellqvist commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Hovshaga AIF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mölnbo BK:s goal. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Mölnbo BK. Klas Ahlroht stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christian Salkvist. 2-2. Christian Salkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Lundkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Marc Lilja managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Hovshaga AIF's Ingvar Vollander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd minute, Ingvar Vollander fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marc Lilja, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Mölnbo BK defense, Karl Ekenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marc Lilja. The Mölnbo BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marc Lilja should have stopped the shot. Hovshaga AIF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
