The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Eric Njurenius managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when AC Kinna's Karl-Michael Åkerström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roger Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jonatan Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sten Hylander charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sten Hylander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AC Kinna getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Hylander couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Hylander in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Njurenius saved Cry Havoc from getting behind. Jonatan Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Lundgren in the 37th minute of play. Eric Njurenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Hylander, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute Sten Hylander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Njurenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Lundgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Roger Lundgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonatan Martinsson, 1-1. Eric Njurenius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Sten Hylander might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Njurenius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Hylander ran back to his position shaking his head. When Sten Hylander came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the AC Kinna fans jumped to their feet.
