Lars Håkansson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Richard Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Niclas Torstensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Olof Soned in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, André Johansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Såtenäs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chili Cheese the free kick. Chili Cheese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lars Håkansson in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Olof Soned to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Såtenäs's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Soned came free, but John Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Chili Cheese's Tommy Bäckman made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Nyberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the match, Per-Olof Soned notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Såtenäs's John Nyberg. John Nyberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Bäckman in the 66th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Lars Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st match minute, Såtenäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Bäckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Chili Cheese's goalkeeper Niclas Torstensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Waller. Richard Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Torstensson having to interfere. Såtenäs's Richard Waller got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chili Cheese's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
