Karol Gendolla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Trulsson in the 3rd minute of play. Jan Jonasson lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 7th minute, Jan Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, trosscross's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Trulsson came free, but Karol Gendolla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. trosscross's Karol Gendolla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Willig in the 11th minute of play. Ronny Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Sigman in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Arne Anselius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svedala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave trosscross the free kick. The supporters of trosscross booed when Svedala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Anselius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Hjalmar Isaksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svedala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Olov Sigman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ronny Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Ödmann's late challenge caught a trosscross's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Arne Ödmann helped the player get up and apologised. Svedala's Ronny Jonasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Svedala from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Svedala getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marko Vik hit a great ball. The supporters of trosscross booed when Svedala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Willig didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Sigman made a kick off. Marko Vik hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Tage Grönberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronny Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Söderqvist in the 69th minute of play. trosscross's Olov Sigman got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bengt-Arne Ödmann was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Bengt-Arne Ödmann kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Svedala's attentive Leonard Månsson managed to snatch the ball when Kalle Östman made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. In the 91st minute of the match Jan Bergstedt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronny Jonasson skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd match minute, trosscross was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Grönberg to maneuver through the defense. Karol Gendolla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stig Willig showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 95 minute of play. The Svedala supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Svedala would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
