Berghem IFK's Jens-Ola Malmström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Wahlnäs in the 13th minute of play. Börje Kellbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th match minute, Berghem IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Bremming to maneuver through the defense. 0-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Kristian Wahlnäs elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Simon Matsson was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Henrik Olofsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henrik Olofsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Dalström during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rune Dalström hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristian Wahlnäs to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, CT United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Mikaelsson to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, CT United's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Olofsson came free, but Simon Matsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CT United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristian Wahlnäs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Mikaelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CT United's zone, Börje Kellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Matsson came out of the goal and Börje Kellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th match minute, CT United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. Börje Kellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Börje Kellbom came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Berghem IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Kellbom couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind CT United's goalkeeper Simon Matsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute Börje Kellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morgan Collin got free with Jens-Ola Malmström in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Berghem IFK's Jens-Ola Malmström got control of the ball when Morgan Collin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Morgan Collin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jens-Ola Malmström made a huge save. Jens-Ola Malmström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Wahlnäs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
