Karl-Erik Hellström started the match with the kick off. Helge Hagström spun around in front of the goal 5 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Landskrona Bios's goal. After 8 played minutes Landskrona Bios got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Örnberg. With a little luck, Landskrona Bios's Marc Kielberg got control of the ball when Helge Hagström tried to sneak it across the goal line. IFK Österbymo's Klas Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Pilblad in the 10th minute of play. Marc Kielberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Helge Hagström in the 11th minute. A collision led to Landskrona Bios getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Henry Pilblad hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, IFK Österbymo's Helge Hagström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mikael Örnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klas Bäckström having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Hellström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Landskrona Bios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Österbymo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Landskrona Bios's Karl-Erik Hellström got a free kick in the 25th minute. Marc Kielberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Karl-Erik Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landskrona Bios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Erik Hellström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Kielberg having to interfere. Klas Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Erik Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Karl-Erik Hellström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Landskrona Bios's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Söderström came free, but Marc Kielberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roy Ekström's late challenge caught a IFK Österbymo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roy Ekström helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Landskrona Bios:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK Österbymo:s goal. After a rather tough play, IFK Österbymo's Alex Söderström got a free kick in the 68th minute. Landskrona Bios's Max Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of IFK Österbymo booed when Landskrona Bios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Pilblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Bengt Tomasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karl-Erik Hellström might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klas Bäckström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Erik Hellström ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Österbymo's zone, Max Lindström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klas Bäckström came out of the goal and Max Lindström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Erik Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klas Bäckström having to interfere. Mikael Örnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of IFK Österbymo booed when Landskrona Bios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Pilblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, IFK Österbymo's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Erik Hellström came free, but Klas Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the IFK Österbymo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
