Rune Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Axel Runeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Peter Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rune Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Nyhamnsläge got a freekick which was hit by Filiph Lind. 24 minutes into the match, Slussfors IF's Kristian Tham broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Billy Nyberg hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Karl-Axel Runeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Sundberg having to interfere. Alf Lindström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Thor Vestlund made a huge save. Slussfors IF's Rune Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Axel Runeberg in the 37th minute of play. When Alf Lindström came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Slussfors IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Lindström couldn't finish the play. Slussfors IF's Jonas Söderberg got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nyhamnsläge's Thor Vestlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Söderberg in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Smedfeldt during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nyhamnsläge getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Harry Smedfeldt hit a great ball. Thor Vestlund acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kristian Tham. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 51 played minutes Nyhamnsläge got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Fernström. When Charles Smed fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nyhamnsläge's protests and gave Charles Smed a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Nyhamnsläge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Slussfors IF:s goal. Thor Vestlund had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Kristian Tham's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rune Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Runeberg in the 62nd minute of play. Harry Smedfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Jonas Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thor Vestlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Slussfors IF's goalkeeper Rune Sundberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match Filiph Alberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thor Vestlund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Slussfors IF's Rune Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Axel Runeberg in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Axel Runeberg in the 82nd minute of play forced Slussfors IF's goalkeeper Rune Sundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiph Alberg lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Slussfors IF! Peter Lindholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Rune Sundberg made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Karl-Axel Runeberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Sundberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Slussfors IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nyhamnsläge:s goal. The goalkeeper, Rune Sundberg, was totally fooled by Nyhamnsläge's Filiph Lind, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
