Fliseryd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute, Sven-Ove Åkerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stocksunds if fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fliseryd's Reine Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Lundin in the 12th minute of play. Roger Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dag Gustavsson took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Lind. Roger Lind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Fliseryd's Robert Lindqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Lind narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Lindqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Lind. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Lindqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hjalmar Tillman during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hjalmar Tillman hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Robert Lindqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Lind having to make a save. Roger Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Stocksunds if booed when Fliseryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Åkerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Lindqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Lind read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Robert Lindqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Östen Erserman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Roger Lind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fliseryd. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 56 minutes, Patrick Stenquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fliseryd and the Stocksunds if players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Stocksunds if booed when Fliseryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Stenquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Robert Lindqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roger Lind, 2-2. Fliseryd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stocksunds if the free kick. A collision led to Fliseryd getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dag Gustavsson hit a great ball. Reine Vassenius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Lundin's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stocksunds if's zone, Robert Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Lind came out of the goal and Robert Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Robert Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dag Gustavsson got free with Roger Lind in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
