Örbyhus's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Dahlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Ove Åkerberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Esbjörn Byström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Örbyhus's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Lundin came free, but Esbjörn Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Örbyhus getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Simon Lustig hit a great ball. Stocksunds if's Karl Boklund couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Örbyhus. When Reine Linberg came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Örbyhus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reine Linberg couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Lundin was the one to do the kick off. Esbjörn Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Reine Linberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven-Ove Åkerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esbjörn Byström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Örbyhus's zone, Roger Lundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Byström came out of the goal and Roger Lundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivar Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Lind having to interfere. The Örbyhus players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Stocksunds if from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
