But to his dismay, Börge Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ralf Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börge Holmgren got free with Esbjörn Byström in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivar Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Linberg in the 26th minute of play forced Åmmeberg's goalkeeper Ralf Myr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
