Coffe FC's Nontas Papaefstathiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Hägglund in the 3rd minute of play. Karl-Ove Bäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Ove Bäck struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Sven-Erik Vester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coffe FC. Frans Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Karl-Ove Bäck took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sven-Erik Vester to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Söderquist in the 28th minute of play forced Coffe FC's goalkeeper Nontas Papaefstathiou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nontas Papaefstathiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Söderquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sven-Erik Vester made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jonatan Fogel sent off a good shot on target. In the 39thth minute of the game Karl-Ove Bäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åtvidaberg's Sven-Erik Vester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Ove Bäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Michel Hägglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nontas Papaefstathiou was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Erik Söderquist was the one to do the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Coffe FC's Karl-Ove Bäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Erik Vester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Bäck notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Åtvidaberg's Sven-Erik Vester. Sven-Erik Vester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven-Erik Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Bäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Fredric Ödmann charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredric Ödmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Åtvidaberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredric Ödmann to maneuver through the defense. If Jonatan Fogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Bäck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Erik Vester. Åtvidaberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Ove Bäck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 80th minute Per-Erik Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nontas Papaefstathiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Erik Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Bäck in the 83rd minute of the match. Åtvidaberg were furious when Sven Stålman was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Åtvidaberg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! When Stig-Arne Klintæus fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åtvidaberg's protests and gave Stig-Arne Klintæus a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Åtvidaberg's Stig-Arne Klintæus got a free kick in the 95th minute. Coffe FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
