The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Egon Andreasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Högland IFK and the Coffe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Jonatan Fogel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jonatan Fogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but William Gummeson made a huge save. After some careless play in the Högland IFK defense, Jörgen Andberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Gummeson. The Högland IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Gummeson should have stopped the shot. When Egon Andreasson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 14 minutes had been played. The supporters of Coffe FC booed when Högland IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egon Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Bäck notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Högland IFK's William Gummeson. William Gummeson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg William Gummeson managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Coffe FC's Jonatan Fogel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 26 minutes in the game, Karl-Ove Bäck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without William Gummeson having to interfere. When Johan Drewitz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Högland IFK's protests and gave Johan Drewitz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Högland IFK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Johan Drewitz hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Högland IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonatan Fogel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Högland IFK's William Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Bäck in the 36th minute of play. Karl-Ove Bäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. William Gummeson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Högland IFK's zone, Karl-Ove Bäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Gummeson came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Bäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Karl-Ove Bäck made the kick off in the second half. Jim Lennartsson's late challenge caught a Coffe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jim Lennartsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Högland IFK's Jim Lennartsson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Karl-Ove Bäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Drewitz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. William Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Fogel in the 64th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Jonatan Fogel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coffe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jonatan Fogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coffe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Fogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Gummeson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Ove Bäck scored 5-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Gummeson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jonatan Fogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coffe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Fogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Gummeson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Gummeson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Fogel's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. William Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Bäck in the 88th minute of the match. Niklas Ahlbeck hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes of play, Coffe FC's Karl-Ove Bäck made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Gummeson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonatan Fogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Gummeson having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Coffe FC had played much better football throughout.
