Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kjell Joensson started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Åtvidaberg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Vedevåg BK's Alvin Nordström got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Hägglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Erling Målare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vedevåg BK's goalkeeper Erling Målare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Michel Hägglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Michel Hägglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åtvidaberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Hägglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Målare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th match minute, Vedevåg BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Hammarbäck to maneuver through the defense. When Per-Erik Söderquist came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Åtvidaberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Söderquist couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Michel Hägglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erling Målare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Söderquist in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Åtvidaberg defense, Alvin Nordström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Erik Vester. The Åtvidaberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Erik Vester should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Åtvidaberg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kjell Joensson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sven-Erik Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Joensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Erik Söderquist made a kick off. Sven-Erik Vester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Joensson in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Robin Hammarbäck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Erik Vester skillfully saved the ball. Alvin Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Erik Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Joensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 81 minutes of play, Åtvidaberg's Michel Hägglund made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erling Målare was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kjell Joensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vedevåg BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
