Löftadalens IF's Hampus Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hampus Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Barck in the 15th minute of play forced Jens Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Alfons Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Biörkquist charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Biörkquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hampus Jansson in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Helström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morgan Barck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Helström having to interfere. A collision led to Löftadalens IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alf Klemensson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Ödman in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Ödman in the 37th minute of play forced Löftadalens IF's goalkeeper Dan Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Ödman in the 40th minute of the match. Jens Joga Bonito's Simon Olsson got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfons Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Barck, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Jan-Erik Mogren's late challenge caught a Jens Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Erik Mogren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Jan-Erik Mogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Erik Biörkquist hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Alfons Helström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1.
