Bror Broman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Linquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Asarum BF's goalkeeper Kenneth Sander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Skog. In the 30th minute, Jörgen Haraldsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asarum BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Stig Linquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Asarum BF's Stig Linquist in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sunnemo's goalie prevented a goal. Viggo Collin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Sunnemo defense, Jörgen Haraldsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bror Broman. The Sunnemo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bror Broman should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunnemo's goalkeeper Bror Broman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sunnemo! Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jörgen Haraldsson made the kick off in the second half. If Stig Linquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Haraldsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Broman having to interfere. Bror Broman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Haraldsson in the 77th minute of play. With his leg Bror Broman managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Asarum BF's Stig Linquist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 84 minutes, Jörgen Haraldsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asarum BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Haraldsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Wilhelm Rosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bror Broman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig Linquist went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score.
