Sorsele BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Kjellberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Eslöv BK's Leo Eckegren got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Löfgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Bo Odeen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Birger Pihlwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Leo Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Eckegren having to interfere. Leo Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Pihlwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Leo Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birger Pihlwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leo Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Eslöv BK got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Kjellberg. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Ekegren to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Jörgen Olsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Eckegren skillfully saved the ball. When Jan-Åke Henriksson came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Eslöv BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Henriksson couldn't finish the play. After having played for 67 minutes, Bo Odeen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eslöv BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Odeen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gösta Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ekegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Eslöv BK defense, Birger Pihlwall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Eckegren. The Eslöv BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Eckegren should have stopped the shot. 2-2 became the score in the 77th minute when Tobias Ekegren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Eslöv BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Brogren to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes, Sorsele BK's Jörgen Olsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Eckegren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sorsele BK reached it. Leo Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Erik Larsson charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Erik Larsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Erik Larsson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Eslöv BK's Leo Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Pihlwall in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
