In the 13thth minute of the game Olof Strömberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astro FC's Dan Siggesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Slite booed when Astro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Wilhelm Martinsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Siggesson skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Strömberg in the 37th minute of play forced Astro FC's goalkeeper Dan Siggesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Marcus Nordin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Astro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olof Strömberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Olof Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Slite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Strömberg couldn't finish the play. Olov Backlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slite's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
