Spectators: 7247 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 110) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roy Ekeroth started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Urshult's Lennart Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 7th minute. Mikael Melberg's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Erling Boman - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Urshult's zone, Mats Bremming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erling Boman came out of the goal and Mats Bremming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernst Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Erling Boman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ånge RK. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Mats Bremming managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ånge RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Bremming was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Boman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Bremming in the 30th minute of play forced Urshult's goalkeeper Erling Boman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute of the match, Roy Ekeroth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Krister Nordström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Kenny Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Herbert Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Bremming to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ånge RK's goalkeeper Krister Nordström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Ånge RK got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Bäck. Roy Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Krister Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ånge RK booed when Urshult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Wiman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erling Boman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Melberg in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Ekeroth in the 71st minute of play forced Ånge RK's goalkeeper Krister Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Urshult's Alvar Wester got a free kick in the 76th minute. Kenny Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krister Nordström having to interfere. If Ernst Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Mats Bremming rounded Urshult's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ånge RK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
