Emanuel Torsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Torsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marko Spetz having to make a save. The supporters of Ålem FK booed when Gimo BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Wassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronny Lundberg in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marko Spetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Gimo BF's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Torsberg came free, but Marko Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gimo BF's zone, Ronny Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Spetz came out of the goal and Ronny Lundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Emanuel Torsberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gimo BF's Marko Spetz. Marko Spetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marko Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Lundberg in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Ålem FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Skytt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Torsberg in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marko Spetz saved Gimo BF from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, one of Gimo BF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gimo BF. The goalkeeper, Marko Spetz, was totally fooled by Ålem FK's Nils-Emil Runberg, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Emanuel Torsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ålem FK's Ronny Lundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 75 in the game by Ronny Lundberg from a close distance when the talented Marko Spetz managed to make a qualified save. Gimo BF's players were relieved. Carl Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Emanuel Torsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ålem FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Torsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Gimo BF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Axel Kinell hit a great ball. Ålem FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
