Spectators: 7228 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 140) Edgar Skytt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute of the match Harry Simonsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marko Spetz skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Per-Olof Kruuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marko Spetz was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Jens Almqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens Almqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Hasselfors BF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gimo BF:s goal. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Gimo BF. Bertil Hamberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henning Liljeström. 1-0. Gimo BF's Marko Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Albohm in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Kurt Albohm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Harry Vall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Olof Kruuse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Olof Kruuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marko Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Kurt Albohm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gimo BF's Marko Spetz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Gimo BF's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Kruuse came free, but Marko Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kurt Albohm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hasselfors BF's Per-Olof Kruuse got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marko Spetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Olof Kruuse's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Carl Lindgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gimo BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hasselfors BF the free kick. Carl Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Olof Kruuse was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Kurt Albohm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hasselfors BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Albohm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Albohm succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 57th playminute. If Kurt Albohm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Olof Kruuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marko Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Albohm struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Marko Spetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hasselfors BF. Henning Liljeström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Vall in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Kurt Albohm notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gimo BF's Marko Spetz. Marko Spetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Kurt Albohm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Hasselfors BF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gimo BF.
