Bror Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Abo´s Akademi FC's zone, Måns Bank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Tingberg came out of the goal and Måns Bank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Tingberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Söder in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Abo´s Akademi FC's Bror Strömberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingemar Apelquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Måns Bank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Skogås got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Bergendahl. Måns Bank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Söder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game Joel Söder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abo´s Akademi FC's André Tingberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Måns Bank put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of André Tingberg. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bror Strömberg made the kick off in the second half. Göran Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Tingberg having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Abo´s Akademi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. Måns Bank might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Tingberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Måns Bank ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Söder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Skogås's goal looked a bit too open when Bror Strömberg came free, but Ingemar Apelquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Skogås's zone, Bror Strömberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Apelquist came out of the goal and Bror Strömberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zebastian Springfält lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skogås fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Gert Kullander hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Bror Strömberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingemar Apelquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. When Joel Söder came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Skogås fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Söder couldn't finish the play. Joel Söder in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of André Tingberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bror Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Apelquist having to interfere. In the 90th minute, one of Skogås:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skogås. The referee gave Abo´s Akademi FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jörn Ahlgren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Skogås's Ingemar Apelquist. 3-1. Joel Söder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, André Tingberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abo´s Akademi FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
