After some careless play in the DEATH MAGNETIC defense, Sverker Helander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Bäck. The DEATH MAGNETIC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Bäck should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Sverker Helander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Håknäs FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of DEATH MAGNETIC booed when Håknäs FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Håknäs FF's zone, Kåre Samuelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Ivarsson came out of the goal and Kåre Samuelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, DEATH MAGNETIC's Kåre Samuelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Ivarsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Sävström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Samuelsson in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th play minute Sverker Helander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Michael Bäck. 3-0. Sverker Helander was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gustav Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sverker Helander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Michael Bäck made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kåre Samuelsson made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Sverker Helander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Bäck was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Gustav Josefsson took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Bäck. Michael Bäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Sverker Helander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Kåre Samuelsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andreas Ivarsson, 4-2. Sverker Helander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Bäck having to interfere. If Kåre Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Wictor Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the DEATH MAGNETIC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Håknäs FF.
