The supporters of Filipstad booed when Pokemon Masters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Ödman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Söder charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A collision led to Pokemon Masters getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sakarias Ödman hit a great ball. Bertil Bålström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dennis Alegren came out and tried to block the shot, but Bertil Bålström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. In the 39th match minute, Pokemon Masters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Ahlström to maneuver through the defense. Bertil Bålström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Alegren having to interfere. Emanuel Lennartsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Alegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Esbjörn Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pokemon Masters's Dennis Alegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Bålström in the 61st minute of play. Sakarias Ödman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morgan Joensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Fernkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Lennartsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folke Soned struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dennis Alegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Filipstad. Robin Söder kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Bertil Bålström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dennis Alegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipstad were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
