Jim Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Eliasson in the 21st minute of play forced Älgens BK's goalkeeper Jim Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Älgens BK's goalkeeper Jim Axelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Brask. Daniel Pil scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jim Axelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Söråker RK's Alexander Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Nyström in the 39th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Älgens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Eliasson came free, but Jim Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georg Nyström was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Tage Näfver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älgens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tage Näfver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georg Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Rosen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Eliasson in the 57th minute of play forced Älgens BK's goalkeeper Jim Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Häll hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Älgens BK's Jim Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pil in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Älgens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Eliasson came free, but Jim Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Eliasson took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Axelsson. Jim Axelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kåre Samuelsson during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kåre Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Ian Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jim Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Brask in the 81st minute of the match. Georg Nyström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Rosen having to make a save. Älgens BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
