The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Nordmarkshyttan IFK's goalkeeper Magne Johansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Måns Johnsson. Bengt Ersman kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ulf Rosen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magne Johansson came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulf Rosen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Magne Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Rosen in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Stråssa booed when Nordmarkshyttan IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Ersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stråssa's Måns Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Ulf Rosen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Magne Johansson. The goal made the score 2-0. With a little luck, Nordmarkshyttan IFK's Magne Johansson got control of the ball when Måns Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Stråssa's Magne Johansson threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ulf Rosen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 38 minutes, Karl-Ove Törnkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nordmarkshyttan IFK and the Stråssa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Måns Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magne Johansson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt Ersman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Måns Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Magne Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stråssa. Ulf Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Johansson having to interfere. Leif Vallman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nordmarkshyttan IFK's Bengt Ersman got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Johnsson in the 74th minute of play forced Nordmarkshyttan IFK's goalkeeper Magne Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Måns Johnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stråssa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The supporters of Nordmarkshyttan IFK booed when Stråssa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Sörman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Rosen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulf Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Johansson having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Nordmarkshyttan IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Rosen came free, but Magne Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Måns Johnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magne Johansson was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Stråssa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
