After a defensive mix-up in Nordmarkshyttan IFK's zone, Gabriel Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Johansson came out of the goal and Gabriel Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Börje Molander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Johansson having to interfere. Gabriel Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Magne Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Börje Molander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VÅRBERG 127's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Molander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Gabriel Berggren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Magne Johansson. The goal made the score 1-0. Magne Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Berggren in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Gabriel Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Molanders short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Magne Johansson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Karl-Åke Billock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Lövskog read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Nordmarkshyttan IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Törnblom to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Johansson having to interfere. 42 minutes in the game, Gabriel Berggren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Magne Johansson having to interfere. Magne Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Berggren in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Berggren was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in VÅRBERG 127's zone, Karl-Åke Billock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Lövskog came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Billock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Möllgren took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magne Johansson. Magne Johansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Magne Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Berggren in the 59th minute of play. Victor Månsson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Gustaf Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Molander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute of the match, Karl-Åke Billock tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Lövskog saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Börje Molander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Johansson having to interfere. Gabriel Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Magne Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nordmarkshyttan IFK's Bengt Ersman got a free kick in the 85th minute. The referee gave VÅRBERG 127 a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pontus Stenman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nordmarkshyttan IFK's Magne Johansson. 3-0. After having played for 96 minutes, Börje Molander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VÅRBERG 127's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Molander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Gustaf Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VÅRBERG 127's Gabriel Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nordmarkshyttan IFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
